Rosary Ring

This Rosary Ring measures 1 inch wide X 1.5 inches high. Silver finish. Origin of Rosary Ring: Religious persecution of Catholics in the 16th century in England and Ireland created a need for people to have a symbol that was used during private prayer. The ring looked like a small piece of jewelry, and was used to pray one decade of the rosary. During World War I soldiers would carry them into battle and the rings were often referred to as Soldiers' Rings.
